Mendol Hoover Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mendol Hoover of Greensboro, North Carolina, born in Richmond, Kentucky, who passed away on July 30, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mendol Hoover and Jaunita Hoover; his brother Michael Hoover (Donna); and his nephew Adam Hoover. He is survived by: his wife Evangeline; his children, Mendol Russell Hoover Jr. (Hope), Timothy Wayne Hoover (Kim) and Katie Scarlett Nordblom (Paul); his grandchildren, Gwendolyn, Quinton, Nate, Cassadee and Evie; his brother Rev. Harry Hoover (Linda); his nieces, Holli Hoover Hendrix and Hope Cain (Billy); and his nephew Allen Hoover.
