In loving memory of Merrilou Williams of Greensboro, North Carolina, who departed this world on February 5, 2026 at the age of 87. Merrilou leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carroll Roberta Jones and James Porter Rae; her husband Howard Leroy Williams; and her sister Barbara Alice Rae Carter. She is survived by: her children, Marc Aaron Williams of Greensboro and Katherine Rae Williams of Loris, SC; her grandchildren, Christina Sandin, Megan Nasutis, Ben Yost, Josh Yost, Jacob Williams and Matthew Williams; her niece Laura Robinson; and her nephew Jim Carter. She is also survived by her eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Greensboro Beautiful, specifically for Tanger Bicentennial Garden.
