He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gilleran and Margaret Gilleran (Moore); his brother James; and his wives, Georgia Gilleran and Barbara Frisbee-Gilleran.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Snyder (Pat), Tracey Nicol, Julie Hawley (Matt) and John Gilleran (Chandi) of North Carolina; and his sister Catherine Dale of Danbury, CT.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
