He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Lafayette and Lilly Gilly Young; his siblings, David, Tommy Young and Ann Tallman; his children, Michael Cadet Young Junior and Elizabeth Joy Merrill; and his grandson Justin Daniel Merrill.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Young; his daughter Sharon Mills (Mark); his grandchildren, Jessica, Brandon (Laura), Hannah (Sendil), Kristi (Tommy) and Jeremy (Crystal); his great grandchildren, Nathaniel, Nicholas, Emmett, Elliott, Emerson, Carter, Ayden, Jaxon Michael Cadet, Parklyn and Kamry; his great great grandchildren, Scarlette Rose and James Cleveland Cadet; and his brothers, Harry and Joe Young.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made in Mickey's honor to First Nations Development Institute, a non-profit that supports Native American Communities, a cause near and dear to Mickey's heart.
