She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Lewis and Minnie Adel Mullins Hodges; her husband Cecil C. Bennett; her sons, Tommy Shelton and Milton Leon Shelton; and her siblings, Wayne Hodges, Wilson Hodges, Perry Hodges, Edna Marie Carter and David Hodges.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Len Shelton, Wanda Louise Parrish (Vernon), Virginia Gail Green and Cecilia B. Green (Ervin); and her brothers, Wilbur Hodges, Douglas Hodges and Donnie Hodges. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Boys Town.
