He is survived by: his wife Shirley G. Harris; his sons, Jim Harris (Leigh) and David Harris (Tonya); his grandchildren, Juleigh Harris, Brandon Craiger (Chloe) and Austin Craiger; and his nephew Mike Elks.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, August 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Living Waters Baptist Church (5667 Old Randleman Rd, Greensboro, NC 27406).
