She was predeceased by: her parents, William Holladay Thornton, Sr. and Frances Grainger Taylor Thornton; and her sister Fannie Grainger Reece. She is survived by: her siblings, Bill Thornton, Jimmy Thornton and Nancy Thornton. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
