He was predeceased by: his parents, Gideon Monnie Shaffer and Clemmie Nelson Shaffer; and his son Jeffrey Ray Shaffer. He is survived by: his children, Anna Shaffer and Ken Shaffer (Mari-Jane); his grandchildren, Paige, Stephanie, Scott, Emily and Nicholas; Lisa Misicka Shaffer.
