She was predeceased by: her husband Gene Ray Lane; her parents, Deford Woodrow Lowe and Carrie Pearl "Polly" Lowe (Manning); and her siblings, Larry T. Lowe, Kay Riddlebarger and Richard "Dick" Lowe.
She is survived by: her siblings, Ivy Mitchell (Tom) of Greensboro, NC and Gary Lowe (Wendy) of Knoxville, TN..
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Home (735 Virginia Rd, Edenton, NC 27932).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations and memorials be made to the ASPCA, American Cancer Society, or the American Liver Foundation.
