He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Moore and Lucy Moore; his wife Marsha Sowers Moore; his son Barry Kent Moore; and his brothers-in-law, Paul Hoaken and Rick Kellam.
He is survived by: his daughter Marisa Moore (Trey DuBois); his daughter-in-law Corinna Moore; his sisters, Ellen Moore Hoaken and Elaine Moore Kellam; his granddaughters, Haley Clark, Lara Moore and Caitlin Moore; and his nieces and nephews, Glenn, Ruth Kerley, Brad, Jane Hudson of Summerfield, NC, Sue, Jeff Bergeron, Alan and Nancy Trivett of Canada.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gethsemane United Methodist Church (106 North Carolina Hwy 150, Greensboro, NC 27455). A celebration of life was held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
