She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus McCray and Georgia McCray; her siblings, Avery E. "Gene" McCray and Shirley A. Duff; her husband Jasper Baker; and her niece Joycelyn Evette McCray.
She is survived by: her children, Alan Collier (Susan) of Durham, Sonja Owens (Charles) of Suffolk and Ruth Henderson (Fred III) of Greensboro; her grandchildren, Je'Vonn Collier, Ericka Callender, Ashley Strickland Baron (Kaleel), Georgia Collier, Alan Collier Jr. (Maylynn), Brittney Craft, Phillip Collier-Owens, Adam Collier-Owens and Sa'Nayia Henderson; and her siblings, William "Bill" McCray (Evelyn) of Atlanta, GA, John "Ken" McCray (Dollie) and Jacqueline McCray of High Point, NC.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, best friends.
