Peggy Mitchell Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on November 12, 2025, at the age of 71, Peggy Mitchell of Greensboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Peggy departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Peggy may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Peggy leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gether Melton (Bill) and Ruby Melton of Greensboro. She is survived by: her siblings, Randall Melton (Gigi) of Greensboro and Carolyn Self (Danny) of Oak Ridge; her niece Melanie (Kenny); and her nephew Matthew. She is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
