She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Lester and Dorothy Ingold Jones; her husband Jimmy Solomon, Sr.; her daughter Dorothy "Reedy" Marie Hammonds; and her siblings, Jimmy "Wolfman" Jones, Glen "Butch" Jones and Edward Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Peggy "Doodle" Dahdah, Raymond "Rick" Eugene Kennedy, Jr. (Wanda), James "Jamey" Dean Kennedy, Sr. (Christine), Terry "Big T" Kennedy (Mary), Rory Fitzgerald (Michele) and Barry Solomon (Amanda); and her siblings, Darlene "Dink" Carter, Ralph "Chip" Lester Jones, Jr. and Larry Jones. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
