She was predeceased by: her parents, Ogburn Burns Tenney and Ampie Melvin Tenney; her husband Joseph A. Stevens; her stepson Richard Stevens; and her siblings, Norman Tenney, O. B. Tenney, Howard Tenney, Billie Wilkins, Hilda Andrews and Hattie Moore.
She is survived by: her son Gregory Riddle (Teresa) of Taylorsville, NC; her stepson Jeffrey Stevens (Jan) of Asheville, NC; her daughter Vickie Jernigan (Joe) of Durham, NC; her stepdaughter Cindy Stasik (Dave) of Michigan; her stepdaughter-in-law Pat Stevens of Michigan; and her grandchildren, Seth Jernigan (Kelly), Alex Riddle (Kendall) and Hunter Riddle. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.
