With sadness, we share the passing of Phyllis Marie Wuschke of Greensboro, North Carolina. Phyllis, born on September 2, 1936, passed away on September 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her sons, Frank J. Fontana (Liz), Richard J. Fontana, John F. Fontana (Pattie) and Joseph R. Fontana; her grandchildren, Chris Elliott (Sabrina), Michelle Fontana (Adam), Frank Fontana Jr., Michael G. Singletary and Richard Edmonds; her great grandchildren, Nathan, Maddie Elliott, McKenzie, Kaleb Blevins, Sofia Fontana and Malachi Edmonds; and her brothers, Anthony Palazolo and Joseph Palazolo.
A Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 10:15 AM at the St. Pius Catholic Church (2210 N Elm St, Greensboro, NC 27408).
