Priscilla Burton Robinson Obituary
A loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother joined the heavenly angels on April 9, 2025. Priscilla Ann Burton Robinson passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family following an Alzheimer's diagnosis at the age of 83 in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Born on October 23, 1941, in Mobile, Alabama, Priscilla was the cherished daughter of the late Clarence Leo Burton and Velma Swendson Burton. She spent her life nurturing those around her with warmth and kindness, leaving a legacy of love and compassion.
Priscilla's heart was as vibrant as the flowers she so lovingly arranged. Her passion for gardening and flower arranging brought beauty to all who knew her. She delighted in cake decorating, creating sweet masterpieces that were as delightful to the eyes as they were to the palate. Her home was always open to those in need, where she provided meals and hosted with grace and generosity.
She is survived by her beloved husband of nearly 66 years, Elliott Robinson, whose partnership was a testament to enduring love. Together, they built a family that was the center of her world. Priscilla leaves behind her daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Jim Pierce; her son and daughter-in-law, Rob Robinson and Lisa Morton, and sons, Don Robinson, and Michael Robinson. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Brandon Castor (Amanda), Cameron Castor (Hannah), Ann Burton Pinson (Michael), Cortney Hopkins (Jimmy), and Daniel Pierce, as well as her great-grandchildren, Addison Castor, David Castor, Avery Castor, Britt Pinson, Billeigh Pinson, Barrett Hopkins, and Aspen Hopkins.
Priscilla's family will hold two services in her honor. The first service will be on May 3, 2025 at 1:00pm at the chapel in Whitestone, 700 S. Holden Rd, Greensboro NC 27407. Reception following in the Linville Activity Room.
The second service will be on May 10, 2025 at 1:00pm at Hillyer Memorial Christian Church, 718 Hillsborough St., Raleigh, NC, 27603. Reception following in the Fellowship Hall.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Whitestone, the Alzheimer's Association, or Hospice, in gratitude for the compassionate care they provided.
