He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Thomas Maness and Shirley Irene Maness; his sister Teresa Norris; and his niece Wendy Nelson. He is survived by: his son Tommy Maness; his caregiver Lisa Maness; his grandchildren, Jacob Maness (Logan), Casey Balser (Dylan Ream) and Madeline Balser; his great grandchild Graham Maness; and his sister Sandy Whitesell (Tony).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel (6000 W Gate City Blvd, Greensboro, NC 27407). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
