He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Amick Swanson and Dorothy Haley Swanson; and his brothers, Jimmy Swanson and Johnny Swanson. He is survived by: his wife Debbie H. Swanson; his sons, Michael Swanson (Erin) of Charlotte and Cameron Swanson of Greensboro; his siblings, Charles Swanson (Julia), Anne Puryear (Mickey) and Sue Robertson; and his pet Jack. He is also survived by many other family members and close friends.
