He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Hatchel and Ruth Maines Hatchel; and his siblings, Virginia Ward (Ray) and Roger Hatchel. He is survived by: his wife Linda Hatchel; his children, Julie Hatchel (Mike Roth), Jeff Hatchel (Doni), Melinda Gilbert (Jeremy) and Melissa Hatchel (Donald Sweet); his adoptive son Danny Fields (Stormy); his stepchildren, Nicki Casson (Jim) and Robby Harden; his grandchildren, Levi Stubblefield, Jesse, Trinity Hatchel, Carson Hatchel, Lilly, Maddy, Kaitlyn Gilbert, Tristan Dial, Mason West, Tanner West, Peyton Johnson, Rowan and Elijah Casson; his sister Emma Jean Wilson (Steve); and his sister-in-law Della Hatchel. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
