He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Cromer and Carolyn Campbell Cromer; his sister Hallie Joyce; and his son-in-law Randy Kilbride. He is survived by: his friend Marge Joyce; his wife Marjory Joyce Cromer; his daughters, Elizabeth McCloy (Atlanta), Dannelly Perdion (Jason) of Strongsville, OH and Carolyn Kilbride of Columbus, OH; his grandchildren, Charles McCloy, J. R. Perdion, Sam Perdion and Campbell McCloy; his sisters, Louise Reno (Louis) and Alice Van Lennep (Katie); and also, Ellen Sherling (Bill), John Joyce (Jennifer) and Robert Joyce (Liz). He is also survived by his family, friends.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Guilford Park Presbyterian Church (2100 Fernwood Dr, Greensboro, NC 27408).
