She was predeceased by: her former husband L. Vincent Wade; her grandson Hunter Edwards; and her son-in-law Steve McConnell. She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy W. McConnell of Tucson and Anne-Berry Wade; her husband John Perritt of Clayton; her grandsons, Michael McConnell (Kaylee) and Daniel McConnell (Hannah); and her great grandchildren, Tucker Wade McConnell and Ansley Grace McConnell.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that contributions be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church or AuthoraCare Hospice of Greensboro, in honor of Rita's memory and her dedication to her faith and community.
