He was predeceased by: his parents, George Kurtz and Hazel Kurtz; and his wife Joan Omli Kurtz. He is survived by: his children, Scott Kurtz (Karen), Kevin Kurtz, Jeff Kurtz (Sherry), Mark Kurtz (Sharron) and Karen Kurtz; and his brother Dan Kurtz. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the George Brothers Funeral Service (803 Greenhaven Dr, Greensboro, NC 27406). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
