He is survived by: his mother Ramona Cox Newby; his stepfather Paul "Sonny" Newby; his wife Patty Routh; his daughters, Jennifer Oates (Matt), Jessica Gamble (Charlie) and Amanda Routh; and his sister Rejeanna Gwynn (Steve). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and many extended family.
