Ronald Nelson Helms Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ronald Nelson Helms (Greensboro, North Carolina), born in Peoria, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 22, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Ronald Nelson leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Helms and Dorothy Helms; his brother Kenneth Helms; and his daughter Cathleen. He is survived by: his wife Betty; and his children, Laura, Robert and Tracey. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren.
