She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Hemphill and Mabel York Hemphill; her husband Thomas Edward Capps; her son Thomas Alan Capps; her grandson Paul Stephen Bollinger, Jr.; and her siblings, Mary Wilson, Clarence and Henry Hemphill.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Douglas Capps, Rebecca Jane Swing and James Duane Capps (Lisa). She is also survived by six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
