She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter L. Collins and Delphia Bowman Collins; her husband Wilbur Simmons; her son Michael R. Simmons; her daughter-in-law Dale Simmons; and her siblings, Mozelle Harris, Evelyne Crowder, Ann Martin, Myra Mills, James Collins, Vance Collins, Buddy Collins, McKay Collins and Edward Collins.
She is survived by: her daughter Patricia; her son-in-law Barry Dillard; her son Mitchell; her daughters-in-law, Ivy Simmons and Dianne Simmons; and her brothers, Bobby Collins and Charles Collins. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; three great-great- grandchildren.
