It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Carson Stallings of Greensboro, North Carolina, born in Hendersonville, North Carolina, who passed away on January 5, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Ruth Carson Jenkins and Wiley Jenkins; her brothers, Wiley N. Jenkins Jr. and James Robert Jenkins; and her daughter Yolanda Payton.
She is survived by: her husband Harry Lee Stallings; her children, Beverly Jo Stallings, Sharon Boney Darryl (Eugene), Wayne Stallings, Kenneth C. Stallings, Tammie Stallings, Sonja F. Sharpe (Leroy) and Rodney Payton; and her siblings, Catherine Richmond, Carolyn McMinn, Jessie Wilson, Evelyn Williams, Jeanette Jenkins, Michael Jenkins, Patricia Wynn and Charles Jenkins (Loretta). She is also survived by grandchildren; and great grandchildren.
