Phelps, Bernice Finch and Bessie Cunningham; her son-in-law Glenn E. McGirt, Sr. (John H. Johnson); her pet Nutty; her daughter Elder Michelle Phelps McGirt; her granddaughters, K. Miracle McGirt and Kayla D. McGirt of High Point, NC.; her siblings, James "Peter" Phelps (Evelyn) of Reidsville, NC, Franklin Mayfield (Wanda) of Greensboro, NC., Deborah Phelps Britto-Aliu (Dee) of Greensboro, NC, Gail Phelps of Greensboro, NC, Norma J. Phelps of Greensboro, NC, Linda Phelps Chavis (Jerry) of Greensboro, NC, Glenda Phelps of Greensboro, NC and Karen Phelps Nembhard (Mark) of High Point, NC.; and her godson Antoine Chavis-Clapp of Greensboro, NC.. She was also cherished by great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives, and friends.
