It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sara Mae (Osborne) Sharpe (Greensboro, North Carolina), who passed away on March 25, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband George S. Sharpe; her parents, Sarah Hennis Osborne and Vernon Avery Osborne; her siblings, Lawrence Osborne and Cordelia Osborne Blackwood; her granddaughter Christy Sharpe; and her siblings-in-law, David Sharpe, Dora Purgason, Betty McMillan and Irene Osborne.
She is survived by: her sons, Gary (Mary), John (Ginger) and Tim (Anita); her grandchildren, Dawn (Jeff), Cory (Laura) and Chris (Alicia); her great grandchildren, Lacee Musgrove, Meredith Julian, Garren Julian, Laurin Sharpe, Hope Sharpe, Stephen Sharpe, Allie Sharpe and Duncan Sharpe; her brother Avery Osborne; and her sisters-in-law, Laverne Sharpe, Violet Cain and Mildred Isom. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
