With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Ann Downs (Greensboro, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 1, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Reuben Foulks and Annie Lemons Foulks; and her husband Carl Downs. She is survived by: her daughters, Valerie Gibson and Carlan Downs-Cline (Dean); her grandchildren, Tanner Gibson, Taylor Pleines (Adam), Avery Roland, Jess Cline and Zach Cline; her great grandchild Aubrey Patterson; her in-laws, Robert and Margaret Downs; her nephews, Chris and Michael; and her friend Brenda Lemmond.
