We are sad to announce that on May 13, 2024, at the age of 88, Shirley Irene Maness of Greensboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Shirley may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ray Thomas Maness, Sr.; her mother Mable Grace Stack; and her daughter Teresa Norris. She is survived by: her son Ray Thomas Maness, Jr.; and her grandchild Sandy Whitesell (Charlie). She is also survived by five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
