With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Shirley Lou Pennington (Greensboro, North Carolina), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Cardwell and Nettie Rudd Cardwell; her husband Walter Pennington; her siblings, Vera Faye Cardwell, Laverne Cardwell, Joey Shepanski and Eddie Shepanski; and her granddaughter April Dawn Pennington.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah "Debbie" Landreth (Mike), Vicky Lynn Cheek (Dale), Walter Marshall Pennington Jr. (Hazel) and Brian Pennington; and her pet Penny. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
