He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Palmer and Julia Palmer; and his wife Carrie Elizabeth Fields Palmer. He is survived by: his children, Gwendolyn Maria Palmer of Washington, DC, Solomon K. Palmer, Jr. (Wanda) of Washington, DC and Cary Palmer of Farmingdale; his sisters, Malvenia Palmer Chappelle of Philadelphia and Aldina Palmer of Philadelphia; and also Angela Perry of Greensboro. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
