She was predeceased by: her parents, William Augustus Leslie, Jr. and Charlotte Bergeron Leslie. She is survived by: her husband John Guerard Scott of Graham, NC.; her children, Leslie Scott Alexander (Charles McNeill Alexander) and John Guerard Scott, Jr. (Meredith Brooks Scott); her grandchildren, Charles McNeill Alexander, Jr., Charlotte Avery Alexander, John Guerard Scott III (Jack) and Grace McKesson Scott; her siblings, William Augustus Leslie III (Cindy) of Cary, NC and Miriam Leslie Green (Barry) of Ashland, Virginia; and her sister-in-law Ann Patterson Scott. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
