It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen Lee Haizlip of Greensboro, North Carolina, who passed away on August 21, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Stephen may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Stephen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, August 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM and at 5:00 PM at the Hargett Funeral Service (905 E Market St, Greensboro, NC 27401). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 29th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:30 AM at the World Victory Church (1414 Cliffwood Dr, Greensboro, NC 27406). Visitation will be held on Friday, August 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
