He was predeceased by: his mother Martha Easter. He is survived by: his father Ray Easter; his wife Cathy Gilbert Easter; his daughters, Ellen (Laughton Jones) of Charlotte, N. C. and Catherine (John Hamlin) of Raleigh, N. C.; his grandchildren, Ellis, Albee, Wells Jones, Jack and Henry Hamlin; and his siblings, Jana Vetter (Jeff) and Marcel (Susan).
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Brooks Foundation, which supports the mission of Brooks Rehabilitation of Jacksonville, Fla., where Lowell underwent extensive therapy following his stroke.
