Susan Karin Emerson Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susan Karin Emerson (Greensboro, North Carolina), born in Essex, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 3, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Randolph Leslie Emerson; and her brother David T. Symmes. She is survived by: her children, Erik Emerson (Nelly), Brian Emerson (Colleen) and Laurel Peterson (Jason); her granddaughter Honey Blue Emerson; her siblings, Bruce Symmes (Cathy), Keith Symmes (Faith) and Linda Monagle; and her sisters-in-law, Sally Symmes and Linda Brooke Hastings (Jim). She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Jehovah's Witnesses or AuthoraCare Collective, honoring Susan's legacy of faith and compassion.
