Susan leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Susan’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Susan will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Sohlberg Jr. and Virginia Bliss Gortner. She is survived by: her children, Virginia "Ginny" Ross Furth (Chris) and Robert Adair "Bob" Ross (Dixie); her grandchildren, Andrew Furth (Sara), Evan Furth (Roux), Rachel Ross (Pete Schultz), Abigail Ross and Benjamin Ross; and her great grandchild Oliver James Furth.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at 2998 Alamance Rd, Greensboro, NC 27407.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jamestown Presbyterian Church, 1804 Guilford College Road, Jamestown, NC 27282, or to the HKC Foundation for Parkinson's (Hamil-Kerr Challenge), PO Box 1963, Jamestown, NC 27282, in memory of Susan Sohlberg Ross.
