With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sylvia June Brodie (Greensboro, North Carolina), who passed away on February 18, 2026 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah Webster and Florette E. Lovin Jordan Stout; and her sister Marianne J. Marion. She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Brodie Liberty (Stuart) and Robert "Bob" Brodie III; her brother John L. Stout; her grandchildren, Aileana Liberty, Kaleigh Liberty, Rebekah Perkins, Joshua Liberty (Alex) and Lauren Sanford (Lance); her great grandchildren, Gabe, Caleb, Olivia, Autumn, Emory and Logan; her sister-in-law Betsy Roberts; and her caregiver Deasia Williams. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
When she came back from death's door after her fight with COVID, my girls named her Lazarus 2. 0.
