He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Norman Ward; his parents, Jim Ward and Bobbie Jean Ward; and his brother Eddy Ward. He is survived by: his brother Robbie Ward; his siblings-in-law, Marjorie Everett (Don) and Ray Norman, Jr.; his stepmother Lucy N. Ward; his stepsiblings, Matt Middleton, Melissa Nieves and P. J. Collier (Scott); his nephews, Bobby Carter, Michael Norman and William Norman; his niece Celeste Tarner; and his close friend Joyce Jones.
