She was predeceased by : her former life partner Lindsay; her father Paul Alton Vaughn (Al); and her children, Lindsay Spears Taylor (Evan) and Dylan Vaughn Spears (Molly). She is survived by : her mother Lora Ann Gregory Nicholson (Nick); her sister Cynthia Vaughn Mardis (Chuck); her husband David Earl Spears; and her grandchildren, Lora Reagan, Virginia Evan Taylor, Leo Alexander, Charles Vaughn Spears and Birdie.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Lawndale Baptist Church (3505 Lawndale Dr, Greensboro, NC 27408). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

“David, Pam and I are so sorry to hear about the loss of Terri. Terri was so special to all as we know, especially us, as she made everyone fill so special.
