He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolphus O. Gossett and Margie V. Atchison; his son Christopher L. Gossett; and his brothers, Glenn Gossett and Bobby Gossett.
He is survived by: his daughter Sonja A. Gossett; his grandchildren, Tiffani A. Bullins and Layla M. Shaffer; his great grandchild Lydia A. Dake; and his sister Patsy Dew. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
