He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Pitts and Kathleen Pitts; and his brother Joseph H. Pitts. He is survived by: his wife Nancy "Cricket" Wrightson Pitts; his son Adam Hobson Pitts of Winston Salem; and his pet Doobie.
