She was predeceased by: her parents, Bryce Fidler and Katherine Fidler; her siblings, Hanes Fidler Holt and Tom Fidler; and her husband Bob Satterfield.

She is survived by: her sons, Derick Satterfield of Reidsville and Jeremy Satterfield of Asheville; her grandchildren, Cash and Magnolia Satterfield of Asheville; and her sister Mary Alice Griffin of Valdosta, GA.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
