With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vennie Williams of Greensboro, North Carolina, born in Chester, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 25, 2024 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ammie Lee Kurtz (Gibson) and Guy Gibson; her husband Roosevelt B Williams; her sons, Oswald Butch Williams and Millard D. Williams; and her siblings, Cleyon Davidson, Fairly Lee Dunbar, Guy Gibson, Hermon Gibson, Andrew Gibson and Milton Gibson.

She is survived by: her daughter Nadine Williams; her granddaughters, Yolanda Williams, Amber Williams and Andreial Williams; her great grandchildren, Aria Woodhouse and Genesis Woodhouse; her sister Mae Lizzy White; her sister-in-law Lorane Gant; and her daughter-in-law Mattie Williams. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
