He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wade Hurley and Irma Jewel Hurley (Hussey); his wife Carolyn Hurley of Greensboro, NC; and his siblings, Oscar Raymer Hurley, Wade Deaton Hurley, Lloyd Sanford Hurley, Colleen Loray Kernstine, Virgil Elroy Hurley, Cecil Hamilton Hurley and David Bradford Hurley.
He is survived by: his brother Byron Hassel Hurley; his children, Keith Hurley, Kim Kelly and Verna Hurley; his grandchildren, Ryan Hurley, Courtney Wall and Aaron Kelly; and his great grandchildren, Logan Wall and Emma Wall.
