We are sad to announce that, on February 16, 2026, at the age of 102, Virginia Smith Boyd of Greensboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Virginia shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Virginia farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Smith and Dollie Mae Smith; her husband Pate Boyd; and her siblings, Mary Fulcher, Rudell Dalton, Ann Kelly, Mittie Mason and Calvin Smith. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
