He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Abraham Murrell; his stepchildren, Jerry McCullough, Anthony Abraham, Teresa Williams and Georgia Abraham; his granddaughters, Denisha Alston Boyd, Aleshia Alston and Eyanna Alston Cameron; his sisters, Wilma McGill Jones, Doris McGill Vincent (Samuel), Jacqueline Murrell Walker (Joseph) and Janice Murrell Harper; his nieces and nephews, Michael Jones (Hannah), Wayne Jones (Carolyn), Robert Harrison, Todd Wright, Eric McGill, Jacob Sartin, Devita Jones Whitehurst (Charles), Edna Jones Tate (Reginald), Lavon Jones (Jamie), Edwina Jones Giles, Teresa Hughes Sims (Curtis) and Felicia McGill Davis; and his great-nieces, Valerie Parker, Leslie Parker, Tamaria Parker Rushdan (Amir) and Linda Cunningham. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
