He is survived by: his wife Patsy Coble Helms; his daughter Melissa Andrews (Don); his grandchildren, Keegan and Evan Andrews; his brother Jim Helms of Greensboro; his sibling's children, Jennifer Deaton (Eddie) and Bradley Helms (Marjie); his brother-in-law Gary Coble (Donnie); his sibling's children, Alex Coble and Katelyn Thompson (Ethan); and his friends, Gary, Susan Hobson, Tim Simpson, Carolyn, Reid Townsend, Carol and John Gonet.
