William Ray Griffin Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Ray Griffin of Greensboro, North Carolina, born in Concord, North Carolina, who passed away on June 20, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Eli Griffin and Elouise Barber Griffin; his siblings, Babbee Sue Griffin, Dora Ann Graham, Mary Virginia Jackson, Edith King, Annie Ruth Stevenson, Betty Kane, J. D. Griffin and Harry Griffin; and his granddaughter Brittany Butterfield.

He is survived by: his son Christopher Ray Griffin (Felica) of Fayetteville; his stepchildren, Calvin Stevens (Leslie) of Greensboro and Lori Ann Lopez (Jose) of Alexandria, VA; his brother Larry Griffin of Greensboro; and his brother-in-law Charles Stevenson of Greensboro. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
